LightsOut Client 1.5

LightsOut Client by AxoNet Software GmbH is the companion agent for the Lights-Out energy management platform. Installed on your desktops and laptops, it coordinates system availability with server-defined schedules and maintenance windows to reduce power consumption without compromising access.

The client monitors user activity and running tasks, prevents sleep during backups or updates, and automatically transitions systems to sleep or hibernation when they’re idle. It securely communicates with the Lights-Out server to report status and receive commands, including Wake-on-LAN and scheduled wake timers. A convenient system tray icon provides quick access to manual controls and temporary overrides. With centralized policies, lightweight operation, and clear activity reporting, LightsOut Client helps homes and small businesses lower energy costs, extend hardware life, and keep machines ready exactly when needed.
